"Along the Way" - Moana

Lin-Manuel Miranda has written a new song for Disney's live-action Moana. "Along the Way" is performed by Maui (Dwayne Johnson), and two Moanas: the original animated Moana (Auli'i Cravalho) and the new live-action Moana (Catherine Lagaʻaia). The result is fantastic.

Moana arrives in theaters on July 10th.

The Mandalorian and Grogu Theme Music

The music from The Mandalorian and Grogu is so iconic. It sounds like a western and a space movie combined, perfect for a story in the Star Wars Universe.

Golden - KPop Demon Hunters

"Golden", a song from the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters, won the Oscar for Best Original Song last night. It's such a fun, upbeat song. I haven't watched the movie yet, which also won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, but the kiddo is definitely a fan.

Go The Distance - Disney Ambient: Rain

The Disney Ambient: Rain album is surprisingly calming. The songs played on piano over the sound of gently falling rain is quite lovely. This song is "Go the Distance" from Hercules.

Isn't it funny how a single song can take you back to your childhood? I loved watching The Muppet Show as a child. The Muppets were wild and crazy and you never knew quite what they'd get up to in each episode. And it was always fun to see the guest stars and the insanity they'd get pulled into. I hope the new special is the start of a new era for The Muppet Show.

Summer Is Starting Right Now

Phineas and Ferb are returning for 104 more days of summer vacation. That means more madcap adventures for Phineas, Ferb, and their friends, more Candace trying to bust them, and more Perry the Platypus saving the Tri-State Area from Doofenschmirtz's inators. And of course, more fun and catchy songs like this one.

Here's the official synopsis from Disney: 

The new season follows the inventive stepbrothers, Phineas and Ferb, as they tackle another 104 days of summer. Candace is more determined than ever to finally bust her little brothers, while their pet platypus, Perry, continues to lead a double life as the suave “Agent P,” whose sole mission is to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz from taking over the Tri-State Area.

Phineas and Ferb arrive on the Disney Channel on June 5th and DisneyPlus on June 6th.
